Aiyana McRae had the privilege to serve Houston-based literary and arts magazine, The Bayou Review, as Editor in Chief, Prose Editor, and Social Media Manager for its Fall 2022 issue entitled “Blooming, Blossoming, and Branching Out.” With her team of six interns, they were able to publish nine works of visual art and twenty-four written pieces— in English and Spanish— from the US, the UK, Brazil, India, and beyond.
